What you seek is commonly used to treat stainless steal I think the process is called pasification. This is a heavy duty oxydizer watch it. It is known to be used to make drugs. You will have to find it your self should not be too hard now that you know who uses it meteal finishing shops are all over the place start a new one in your bumfucking side of the planet....

Potassium Dichromate (Bichromate of Potash) is used as a water based chemical stain for wood finishing !
Potassium Dichromate can be easily turned into sodium dichromate !
