Thermocouple-Pipette Thermometer | Bookmark | ||||||
Pipette: Kimble, disposable, rated at 20C, markings read: 5/10ml in 5/100 coupled with: generic 9v digital multimeter with k-type thermocouple (looks like a thin pair of wires with a tiny knob connecting them at the end) Melt pointed tip of pipette closed with blowtorch, insert thermocouple, wrap teflon tape around midsection to fit 10/30, reads my grandmother's rectal temperature at 232C, smooth as butter. Aren't multimeters wonderful? Total cost: $20 over and under, then back to the start this sidewalk's bottom is the same as its top |
