Does any one know how stable the isosafrole epoxide is. Ie. Can you keep it in the freezer for extended periods of time without decomposition. I believe mabyee ritter said something about it a while back but a thourough search yeilded nothing.<br>VL_

Ritter stored isosafrole glycol. But I think the pure distilled epoxide can last very long if cool, and protected from light and moisture.

Vibrating_Lights!<br>the only thing Uemura can tell is that his anethole expoxide was water clean after destillation but now got a very light yellow touch. Epoxide is stored in a clear glas bottle at room temp. Should put the stuff into the freezer. <img src="../forum/images/icons_lightgrey/smile.gif" alt="smile" title="Smile" heigth="15" width="15"> Or work it up....

Wouldn't it be great to make a big chunk of epoxide at one time and just keep it in the freezer. then when ever was nescesary be only 7 hrs from crystals. <br>
