Does any one know how stable the isosafrole epoxide is. Ie. Can you keep it in the freezer for extended periods of time without decomposition. I believe mabyee ritter said something about it a while back but a thourough search yeilded nothing. VL_ |

Ritter stored isosafrole glycol. But I think the pure distilled epoxide can last very long if cool, and protected from light and moisture. |

Vibrating_Lights! the only thing Uemura can tell is that his anethole expoxide was water clean after destillation but now got a very light yellow touch. Epoxide is stored in a clear glas bottle at room temp. Should put the stuff into the freezer. Or work it up.... |

Wouldn't it be great to make a big chunk of epoxide at one time and just keep it in the freezer. then when ever was nescesary be only 7 hrs from crystals. |
