You just frees your mixture and filter off the safrole (or dekantate the polutant off).<br>Same princip as putting a bottle of wodka into the fredge, then filtering off the wather (as ice) ending op with stronger woodka.

Took a 1min search using "freezing safrole" to find this: <br><span title="Jump to this post"><a href="../methods/000292562.html#Post294073">Post 294073</a> <i>(LaBTop: "Freezing sassafras:", Methods Discourse)</i></span><br><br>Dude, learn to use the search engine! I see why others find this extremley annoying...cuz these posts are so repetitive!<br><br>Also, simple distillation of sassafras oil without a fractionating column will yield very pure crystal clear safrole. Double distill if you really want to have pure safrole.
