       Shipping Chems With Haz-Mat Fee..     

Lets say that a company will only sell to me if I'm at a business address.. I'm at a home, residential address, so will them or the shipping company know if I lie and give them a fake business name/residential area. Are charges different for business area/ residential? Any help would be much appreciated! Peace!cool

If they really care they have ways to check, so yea - there's a possibility you'd be caught in a lie. Some of the online mapping places tell one way or the other, and there are commercial databases that do the same thing.

Here's an idea though you might be able to expound on:

Bwiti, I do believe they have a way of telling instantly if you are in a bussiness zone or not. I once tried claiming I was at a bussiness location to get a reduction on the shipping costs, as it was more to ship to a residential location, and the rep knew somehow that it was a residence, triggering the blonde in me, "ohh, gee wiz, I thought I lived in a bussiness zone.. well, now I know!"

I wish someone would give me the email addy to a good source, but we're not allowed to do that here.wink

assuming you would pay by credit card they would presumbaly know it was a personal card as opposed to a buisness/institutional card, some places will only let you pay with buisness/institutional card, so that would be another potential problem.
