Stainless thermometer

Can swim use stainless thermometer in his E/rp/I2 reflux? He have utfs but don`t find the aswer, swim have goggle but only find glasthermometer whith maxtemp 110c. So he must use stinless.

If unable to get a proper laboratory item, look for a 'candy thermometer'. Goto homeware stores, or online. They goto higher temps (than 110), are larger and less flimsy, and are totally encased with glass and have this 'bitchin little slidable clip thing' that is cool.

if you get a candy thermometer don't be too vigorous when wiping the end clean or..snap!!...this is more an expose of idiocy than a warning...swij had a bad morning with glass...first he popped the end off his thermometer then he snapped the bottom off of his beautifull seperatory funnel...don't know his own strength
