The Arts & Crafts Shop & KOH
Swim's buddy has been getting his favorite drying agent (silica gel sand) as a flower dessicator at a big warehouse sized arts and crafts store. He's recenlty been tipped off that potassium hydroxide (KOH) is a common soapmaking ingredient. Swim's buddy has seen candle making supplies there but is not certain if they also carry soap making ingredients. If they do does anyone have a clue as to what the KOH might bee labelled as when sold for soapmaking purposes?
It's also a good place to meet chicks but Swim's buddy often feels like he should almost be a little more limpwristed and light in the loafers to be taken more seriously there.

(KOH), and it is used instead of NaOH to yield liquid rather than solid soap.
Ye might as well find a real chem supplier and have an 'Earth mother'-looking female friend go in there and get it for you. KOH is not a big deal. You are making liquid soap. Heck, buy some sodium laureth sulfate and whatever else and really make some soap..
Arts and crafts stores tend not to carry soap making supplies. Perhaps inquire at a local weekend flea market which might harbor a homemade soap peddler or something..
