						Does the Promethazine HCl need to be extracted from the pills it said it was water/alcohol soluable.  I feel so ghetto evn thinkig about dumping in the pills.  I will look at the MSDS on this           Recommended dosage Return to top ADULTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The usual dosage is 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 6 teaspoons, or 30 milliliters, in 24 hours.  Phenergan with Codeine contains 10 mg of codeine and 6.25 mg of promethazine per 5 mL (1 teaspoon)--clear, purple-colored solution.  Tylenol 3 contains 30 mg codeine and can be easily extrated with cold water method.  I wonder what hydrocodone would do for giving it more kick?  Promethazine HCl comes in 50mg tabs at #90 for 40.00.  Codeine 30g cost $50.00 for #120.  My question is what would be a good solvent to dissolve both and make taste like cough syrup.
