Neutralise it with a strong base, then extract with non-polar solvent and do the usual work-up. You might also consider using the search engine, this topic has been covered many times before.

Easiest method is to dissolve the compound in methanol, assuming it's soluble, then add KOH dissolved in methanol. KCl will precipitate out. Filter, rinse filtered solids with additional methanol, evaporate and be done with it.

Of course, if the compound you're freebasing is sensitive to strong bases, you'd want to go a different route...
