crystal oil | |||||||
take your oil,check ph,take one cup warm water,one spoon red devil lye,mix,and pour 1/2 the cup thru your oil,let settle and room temp,check ph again.you want 12 to 14 ph level;before gassing,which will be cut in 1/2 for product when u gas.,,,Before ph-ing...run an aquarium pump (airiate)your oil for a couple hours to get rid of gas. Use salt and sulphuric, instead of A&M or A&H...better gas better control.On an R$B.,,the PH must be right to GAS ,unlike shaker way...Humidity will kill any gas return also. 70 degrees with no more than 60% humidity., is ideal.[purple] |

How much NP is the right ratio to dissolve the | |||||||
How much NP is the right ratio to dissolve the FB before gassing ( ex. 20ml FB in ????ml Toluene) ? After steam distilling of the FB, is then a (5%) NaOH wash recommendable (before H20 and brine) or is this overkill/nonsense? only water/brine washes are enough? thx |
