I doubt it, Li is not going to form the same...
(Rated as: good idea!)
I doubt it, Li is not going to form the same kind of "electron soup" that it does in NH3 or ethylene diamine
If you were to chuck a load of Li into a bucket of HCl, you would, if it were in the form of foil get a very violent reaction, if you used Li in the form of solid lumps you most likely will get it explode in your face.
No offense, but I think you need to learn some more basic chemistry beefore trying something like this.

mate what is HCI? dont you mean HCL?
mate what is HCI? dont you mean HCL? You dont even know how to spell the substance let alone think about using it with Li to reduce pseudo. You cant just chuck two things together and hope it works, if you dont know anything about chemistry then you shouldnt be trying to invent new procedures.
Your an individual just like everyone else.

With lithiumn foil, from batteries etc.
With lithiumn foil, from batteries etc. that hasn't been compressed into a ball the reaction is just violent, not that likely to cause an explosion IMHO, at least that is, judging from the way sodium metal reacts in HCl

Once again I pose the question in the wrong...

Once again I pose the question in the wrong place.
Could dry NH3 vapours be used to gas a chilled Non Polar mixture containing 2Li:1E ?
Can the reductive electron be solvated by the gaseous phase?
DO I REALLY NEED A STAINLESS STEEL DRY ICE SUCKING MAMMOTH DEWAR CONDENSeR?
Condensers are cool.
