Well first off I have to say.. UTFSE.. other than that...<br><br>you can start from the imtermidiate GBL... and just basify it with either NaOH, KOH, or and base really... there is one from baking soda even.<br><br>Another methode is from using GABA... I dunno do some searchs...you can also oxidate butan-1,4-diol with some KMnO4 and CuSO4-5H20 ( search on Rhodiums page for a solvent free oxidation)... what else... hmm that is about it...<br><br>Oh you could try starting from GVL.. I dunno search..
