I mean from 1013mbar. now my queation. i have made p2p fom phenylacetic acid sodium acetate and acetic acid anhydride. now i want to distill the p2p. I have took before the nomograph here it is... ../rhodium /equipme i have drew a line from 375 torr to 215°C (P2P) and the p2p must distill at 185°C. I have made it but I only get the acetic acid anhydrid. what did i wrong. The p2p made I after a synthesis of the book from otto snow. Phenyl acetic acid sodium acetate and acetic acid anhydrid. Heatet for 18h at 150°C. After that distill only the p2p. thx for all replys |

Here is the proper procedure: ../rhodium /phenyla Naturally the excess acetic anhydride will distill first, it has a lower boiling point. The Hive - Clandestine Chemists Without Borders |
