APOPLEX Member posted 12-19-1999 09:45 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Rhodium: I did not found anything according to this idea in the search engines.Do you think it`s possible to methylate P2P forming MDP2P without killing the carbonylgroup ? I think methylation will cause a sidereaction with the carbonylgroup of the P2P, so this carbonylgroup needs to be protected during the methylation. But I don`t know how. Any ideas ? --------------------------- APOPLEX Rhodium Administrator posted 12-19-1999 03:26 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is unfortunately impossible to turn P2P into MDP2P. Sorry. APOPLEX Member posted 12-20-1999 12:15 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shit But thank you Rhodium ! ----------------------- APOPLEX All times are CT (US) next newest topic | next oldest topic Administrative Options: Close Topic | Archive/Move | Delete Topic Hop to: Select a Forum or ArchiveList of Forums:General DiscussionAcquisition DiscourseChemistry DiscourseMethods DiscourseNovel DiscourseCrystal MethSerious Chemistry ForumThe Hive CouchSerious Tryptamine DiscourseAdmin Chill-out TentList of Archives:Couch ArchivesClassics!Law and OrderThe litter box.misc.
