Another Q 4 u, After adding Chlorobenzonitrile to the reaction mixture from a Grignard reagent prepped from cyclopentyl bromide and magnesium, what is the resultant compound which has to now be hydrolised. Thank you again |

Mix it with dilute HCl and if needed, reflux it. This will form the o-chlorophenyl cyclopentyl ketone. http://rhodium.lycaeum.org |
