Magnetic seals permit leak-free mixing in vessels
Magnetic mixers with leak-free magnetic couplings are now available for shaft powers to 11 kW and vessels in sizes to 1,000 L. Dyna-Mag Pro mixers have no rotating seals and require no packing or lubrication. Constructed of stainless steel, Hastelloy, and Monel, they are available in both threaded and flanged mounts, and can be custom-sized for retrofit applications. Five models cover shaft diameters from 7/8 to 1.5 in. and pressures ranging from 6,000 down to 1,000 psi. Maximum operating temperature is 650 degrees F. -- Pressure Products Industries Inc., Warminster, Pa.
