There seems to be no salvia species containing DMT. The psychoactive Salvia divinorum (http://salvia.lycaeum.org/) contains Salvinorin A (which is not an alkaloid but a diterpene).

It is actually a terpene, I think. Salvinorin is so different in the fact that it is not an alkaloid. I feel that when used properly, it is one of the most intense drugs known to man (I've never tried a little Silence, Tranquility, and Peace, STP). I have salvia officianalis in my backyard. The only thing it is good for is greek dishes involving lamb and making those hippy stick incense things that were popular at the dead shows.
