Benzothiophene analogs | Bookmark | ||||||
You can look up analogue here. http://www.m-w.com I found two articles in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry on benzothiophene analogs of tryptamines. They mention that the N-H in the indole ring in tryptamines aren't important in receptor binding. They also give a synthesis of the dimethyltryptamine analog (S in place of N-H in the indole ring) from the tryptamine analog using formaldehyde and formic acid Post 248013 (PolytheneSam: "Re: Leuckart alkylation", Newbee Forum) . Does anyone have any info about psychoactive properties? 1) Sept. 1968 pages 1049-1054 2) Vol. 13, No. 6, 1970, pages 1205-1208 Also see http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/4212977f/ http://www.geocities.com/dritte123/PSPF. |
