Here is a bee with some need to find out something about the chemical properties of paraldehyde and its adducts .....here is his inquiry from the WD

Thanks for that info! Sorry about that angry-alcoholic post.. Will paraldehyde form an adduct with a saturates solition of Na- or K-bisulfite, like with acetaldehyde or benzaldehydes??

Sorry for the late reply.

Paraldehyde, IIRC, will slowly decompose in solution to produce acetaldehyde. This then will form the bisulfite adduct. Paraldehyde itself however, no.
