For those of you who are taking the online Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (BDC), we are going to implement a system whereby students will be able to get help with any questions or problems they are having with the lecture materials.
Categories/topics will be created in the BDC Forum, each with a name generally describing lecture material topics with the prefix "Q&A:". Therefore, if you are having difficulty grasping any of the concepts being presented, please post your question in the category which best fits the subject matter of your question. We will add more categories as new topics are presented in the lectures.
At some point we hope to have these categories filled with various discussions on a multitude of topics, however, until we get the Q&A system in place and running, we encourage students following the course to ask any and all questions they may be have so we can begin development of an information base as soon as possible.
Lastly, since the category topics are designed to coincide with Synthetika's online course, we would like to try to keep the discussions relevant to the materials which are or have already been presented. However, I realize that many of you may be using different textbooks, some of which do not follow precisely with the lecture material. Therefore, should you have either (i) a question that is relevant to the course material but which has not yet been covered, or, (ii) a chemistry question which, although it may not pertain to the course materials, it is still a "learning" question (like a quantum mechanics or redox question), please post these in the "Other Chemistry Questions" Forum.
