SWIM wants some good info on what, in this forums' opinion would be on the best way to go about synthing ice. SWID only wants a clean, pure route. SWID has been doing MDMA synths for a while so has great equipment, SWID thought about wet dreams but too many tweakers who seem like they want qauntity over quality. No ghetto rigging. SWID doesnt want to make money from this so purity over quality. SWID has seen so much posted about this and has decided to try another synth. What is the best way to go about making d-Methamphetamines?
Ice is the common name for crystalline methedrine, as well as crystalline 4-methylaminorex freebase (which can be synthesized from PPA).
For quality m.eth, it is advisable to make p2p via any of the known routes and then proceed to reductively aminating with methylamine, as has been done succussfully all the time during the last 100 years (at least)..
The key to purity lies in purifying the reagents and intermediates at every stage very thoroughly, and to recrystallize the end product several times, preferably from a dual solvent mixture, followed by one final ultra-slow recrystallization from single solvent to get huge, glass-like crystalline amine HCl salt (last reXtal is just for the look, not for purity; but the preceeding ones are!)...
